Welcome! Introduce yourself here.
Say a few words about yourself! Here are some ideas for what to say:
Choose whichever questions you like or come up with your own introduction. The goal is to let others get to know you a little bit!
- Have you followed the community from Imzy or are you new here?
- What are your pronouns and how would you like to be addressed here?
- What do you hope to find in this group?
- Why are you interested in tarot, how do you approach reading?
- Are you new to the cards or have you been reading for a long time?
- Do you have a favourite deck?
- What do you think distinguishes your approach to tarot?
Choose whichever questions you like or come up with your own introduction. The goal is to let others get to know you a little bit!
Re: Hell
We seem to share some aspects of our approaches to tarot 😊 You put some things I think into words. I also don't really look to tarot for answers but rather for guidance and suggestions for paths that could be taken. Encouraging myself and others to examine their own lives is definitely a favourite use of tarot for me.
And we also seem to share a similar approach to the gendered cards - I tend to ignore the gendered meanings and focus on other qualities and personality traits associated with the cards. However, fitting with your anecdote about your mum's reading, I've learned that sometimes I have to pick up on some of the gendered meanings because although they pretty much never have relevance in my readings for myself, they are sometimes relevant in readings for other people. It all depends on the specific reading.
